Just a few of my favorite pieces that I saw around The D.

I love taquerias and El Rey is great. My favorite was the chorizo taco.

Good to see this building has received some TLC since my last visit in 2002.

I spotted a good pulp fiction and sci-fi section on my cruise through.

After almost thirty years the Heidelberg Project is still standing ...

So good I wolfed down the entire 12-inch thin crust pie in one sitting.

This shop is actually in Royal Oak and a bit of a drive from Detroit but it was worth it.

A must for first time visitors. I have made sure to go on both of my visits to Detroit.

Thirsty? Good. Take a walk through Midtown Detroit and there are loads of great places to drink.

A huge space which centers on everything having to do with the fine art of letterpress.

There is a lot of Mexican food in Detroit so when I came I had to find some tacos.

Eastern Market goes back 150 years as a shopping center for fresh foods, restaurants and shops.

This carriage house ended up being my own little cottage in the rear of my Airbnb host's house.
