Tsuru Ton Tan has its first location outside of Japan right down the street in Union Square in New York City. Good stuff and a welcome addition to the roster of Japanese noodle chains which now include Ippudo, Ichiran, Ivan Ramen and Hide Chan. The mentai caviar udon was a great first dish to try but on my second visit the beef sukiyaki became my favorite. This place is sure to become one of my neighborhood staples.
