2nd Ave Deli

I had a craving for matzoh ball soup and latkes so I used that as an excuse to finally visit 2nd Ave. Deli.

“Walking Taco”

Definition: A small bag of Doritos scored down it's long side, topped with ground beef, shredded lettuce and grated cheese.

Mile End, Noho

Today a brisket sandwich on rye, potato salad and iced tea at Mile End in Noho. Next time I'll have to try the smoked meat hash or their reuben.

Ivan Ramen

The first visit I didn't hesitate to order the Spicy Red Chili Ramen and the Chinese Greens & Garlic - hot, spicy, cool and sweet.

Black Seed Bagel

Everything bagel at Black Seed Bagel with egg salad (a good dose of dill) and tomato.

El Quim de la Boqueria

I was stuffed to the gills but took a seat and a prawn treat at El Quim de la Boqueria in La Rambla.

El 300 del Born

Papas bravas and escudella of the ciutadella at El 300 del Born in the cultural center of El Born district in Barcelona.

Le Mary Celeste

Le Mary Celeste is a cool corner joint to take in cocktails and small plates. Try to get there early to avoid the rush.

Tacos El Gordo

Slightly spicy pork tacos from Tacos El Gordo. Help to set me right after a boozy afternoon/late night at the Peppermill next door.

Nacho Mama’s

A mighty fine welcome to Baltimore. A margarita served in a hubcap and filled to the brim.

El Rincon de Pancho

This was the best meal of my trip to Chile. I found it in El Rincon de Pancho which is on the second floor food court of El Mercado Cardonal.
