When construction started in 2006 I began to periodically visit the WTC site and photograph it's progress. On this day the new tower opens and some of it's first tenants, Condé Nast, begin to move in 13 years after the twin towers came down. You can see the new tower's rise below in a series I took spanning 8 years.
