Women's March on The Mall in D.C.
Washington D.C.

I went down to the women's march on The Mall in D.C. not knowing what to expect and thinking it wouldn't really be much of a protest. I was blown away by how many people showed up to demonstrate their love of country, speak out against President Trump and to bring awareness to many other issues. There were chants and boos (especially while walking past Trump's hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue). It was stunning.

Similar marches happened in other cities around the globe on all seven continents. Some reports say this was the biggest in US history. This may also be the most chilling and hostile first day for any US president, ever.
