I have been a fan of Santiago Calatrava's work since seeing plans for his unrealized 80 South Street residential tower (google it!). New York instead receives one of his spiny, clean and super modern constructions. No complaints here. The new transit hub is impressive and feels more like a cathedral than train station. It has nice curves and gives you space to breathe in cramped lower Manhattan.
