Paradise | Larry Levan block party

A block party was thrown to honor and remember the legendary pioneering DJ and producer Larry Levan. It was also an effort to bolster support to rename King Street (where Paradise Garage resided) to Larry Levan Way.

The energy in the crowd was electric. The closest I can usually get to this kind of vibe is at a 718 Sessions party. An excellent way to burn through a Sunday.
