San Francisco equals home to me and Eddie's Cafe is one of those joints that is emblematic of that feeling. Went back for a simple breakfast on my most recent visit: scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, hash browns and a couple of fresh, fluffy biscuits. The folks behind the counter must have picked up on my nostalgia and served me coffee in a SF Giants mug. The mug you get is part of the fun too. They have literally hundreds of different kitschy sorts and the coffee will beat 'bucks beans any day.
