Bar do Mineiro

This was probably my favorite meal on this visit to Rio. If you go bring your appetite.

Candelária Church

The church is a beautiful structure and a peaceful retreat from the sizzle of the city.

Around Santa Teresa

Santa Teresa is a bohemian neighborhood with shops, eateries and pubs. You can spend an afternoon, evening or night strolling through it's winding streets.

Christ the Redeemer

This impressive deco Jesus Christ statue sits at the top of Corcovado mountain and looks over all of Rio.

Sushi Leblon

Brazil is home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan so I had to have at least one sushi experience while in Rio.

Museu do Amanhã

Rio's museum dedicated to science and sustainable living designed by Santiago Calatrava is impressive. The building was built to be energy efficient with features like solar spines.

Escadaria Selarón

Chilean-born artist Jorge Selarón was primarily a painter but was obsessed with his stairway art project.

Ipanema Beach

A beautiful day on one of the most famous beaches in the world.

Giuseppe Grill

Everything was delicious. Everything was very hearty. Bring your appetite.

Leblon Beach

The beach is named for it's adjoining neighborhood which is known as one of the more hip, stylish and exclusive of Rio de Janeiro.
