Taco Rice at Taco Bell

Even though it is an Okinawan specialty I still searched for Taco Rice in Tokyo.

Japan Airlines takes mile high dining to even greater heights.

Probably doesn't look like much but it was a pretty decent chicken curry on Air India flight 315 from Osaka to Hong Kong.

Picked up some porky nibbles at 551 Horai before my flight to Hong Kong.

An eggy pancake loaded with cabbage and in this case thinly sliced pork belly, prawns and octopus.

Ducked into the St. Regis bar for a beer and some snacks. It was a good and comfortable break from running around Osaka.

Enjoy the little private booth you sit in with the red light which made the whole experience feel a little seedy in a good way.

You may have to queue for a bit but the sushi is worth it.

Quite impressive and should rank high on the shortest of lists while visiting Kyoto.

Honke Owariya has been in business since 1465. It was originally opened as a confection shop but over time started with more offerings.

The colors of the forest during my afternoon visit brought a cooling, calming quality to the stroll.

I knew there would be a wait but this might be the longest I have ever queued for soup.
