The standout dishes from my trip to Myanmar tended to be the salads.

Most things were closed for Thingyan but luckily these guys kept their doors open for an extra day.

Gearing up for my April visit to Burma (Myanmar) so I stopped in to Cafe Mingala for a preview of food to come.

Had to make a stop at Din Tai Fung in Chengdu to get a taste of the spicy wontons at their Szechuan branch. So good.

I visited Chenmapo to try their famous spicy tofu.

The Food Republic at IFS Mall is a food court with tons of options from different Asian regions.

This place was a total surprise. The tiger prawn wontons were resting in a light broth, the skin was super thin and the perfectly cooked...

Popped into Lan Fong Yuen for a sweet treat of French Toast and Hong Kong style milk tea.
